There was a very interesting article in Sunday's NY Times Magazine about anti-Semitism in France, much of it coming from the left, or from those supported by the left. Yet today, when synagogues are firebombed, she complained, the left is silent because the anti-Jewish violence is perceived as coming from radical Muslims, whose cause the left has adopted as its own.
