hello,as a luddite new to the net,I've been fascinated to read all this;I was around the english folk scene as a spring chickin -mid 70s on , and was lucky enough to see Nic Jones play.To pass on a fair (I think!) suggestion of whom to listen to for a similar 'fix',try Chris Foster's first two albums(Layers &all things in common)Nic plays fiddle on a few songs on Layers. all the best,Max
