Cheney has been exposed, and people do not care. That is the tragedy inherent in the farce called Congress. The body politic that should rule does not. America will kiss its democracy goodbye if it elects Bush for another term. The use of an expletive verb in the Senate will be the least of anyone's worries; and when the baseball season starts, fans will question the truth of "does that star-spangled banner yet wave, o'er the land of the free and the home of the brave." Play ball! What do you do to an elephant with three balls? Walk him and pitch to the giraffe.
