My mother and her friends used to sing a Homer and Jethro song "She Made toothpicks of the Timber in My Heart" She was tall and she was limber, as timber she was fine But her heart was (something something) turpentine Like an axeblade cuts a pole She made sawdust of my soul she made toothpicks of the timber in my heart I would love to have the rest of the lyrics -- Mom doesn't think she has them all.
