There is a little thread creep here, so I'll add to it. lloyd61:If you knew Fey Allen, you might also remember the great Wisconsin fiddle player, Leonard Finseth. He was a friend of my family. We were pretty proud when he was named a National Treasure by (I think) the Smithsonian. His father was born in Norway, and Leonard's playing reflects that. If you are familiar with Wisconsin, he was from the Mondovi area. Interesting thread! Lyle
