Well then Les...that's getting off into a whole 'nuther thread subject methinks... I'd say go to the source and read it, personally. Matthew 5:17 talks of the Mosiac law and how Jesus said he had come not to destroy the law but to fufill it which (if you are so inclined to believe that Jesus was the son of God and I understand that many folks do not. That's quite allright) was a part of Jesus's job so to speak, to update the old law. And remember that the Bible covers quite a chunk of ancient history. shrugs it makes sense to me...
