I have a 000-X1 that I bought when my 1970 D-18 walked away. Like Little Hawk's model, it has a composite back and sides and solid spruce top. I believe the neck is composite, too--it has a pretty zebrawood-like finish. I'm very pleased with the sound--especially when I hear it played by someone who can really play. And the price was right: $650! I just wish the model number didn't sound like something out of a 1950's science fiction movie. Aloha, Mark
