I would imagine that many of the younger element who enjoyed the roots events at Sidmouth will follow Laurel Swift and her Shooting Roots team to this new festival in Eastleigh.

With bands like The Peatbog Faeries and Croft No.5 appearing, Eastleigh is likely to appeal to those who enjoy the celtic / crossover / world dance music.

Mind you, Ashley Hutchings, Capercaillie and Beth Nielsen Chapman will also attract more traditional folk music enthusiasts.

It's an interesting new addition to the summer festivals calendar.
