I lost something over 40 pounds a couple of years ago. don't know for sure how much over because i'd quit weighing myself out of terror, but likely 10 pounds over, anyway. I didn't change what I ate much, just ate less of about the same stuff. I'd tried it before, but this time I concentrated on eating less instead of losing weight. Doesn't exactly make sense, but it seemed to work. See how much you can cut down without feeling empty. Wait a bit before you have second helpings; promise yourself you can have a snack in half an hour if you need it. Keep a hard candy in your mouth to fool your stomach; it'll think you're eating. Don't weigh yourself until your pants start falling down. Cunning and trickery at all times. clint
