I got one when they were brick sized years ago. Called a yuppy by my close friend and neighbour. Got it 'cos I didn't trust my car of the time. Then, we were in Martin Mere (Wildfowl Trust reserve) and made sure we were at the exit by 6.10 (closing was 6.30). Gates locked, 8 foot fence (electrified at the top), no-one in sight. 13 year old daughter (hers) started to panic. Flock of whistling ducks also getting worried (probably because we didn't have any bread). Phoned police and took five minutes explaining to a thick sergeant that I was NOT reporting a stolen car. I could SEE my car. Through a fence. 10 minutes later, very embarassed warden appeared, released us (and gave us some comp. tickets) and said we were the only people ever locked in. Two weeks later, my friend has a phone... I make at least four 112 calls (999 or 911 to most people) a year (being a first aider) and am away camping frequently. I've actually got two - on different networks - but only use one normally. Oh, and that one is the only one in the world with its particular ringtone. If I find another one with it, I'm going to claim royalties 'cos it's one of my own tunes...
