He was an amazing prodigy. At 15 he knew more than most successful and renowned guitarists who'd been playing for a lifetime. Chet Atkins (no slouch himself) was said to be in awe of his talent. Check out the "Boy Wonder" album sometime. Scary. Makes you just wanna put the guitar down permanently, and say "So? Would you like fries with that?"
