Mudcat has its roots as a folk lyrics forum, based on the Digital Tradition Folk Song Database. I haven't seen any particular bias against instrumentalists, but the primary basis of Mudcat has always been lyrics. Well, I guess we have had a lot of jokes about bodhrans, banjos....and accordions. What can I say? -Joe Offer-
