Mick Lowe So who do you love? (107* d) RE: So who do you love? 20 Dec 99

Mbo/Matthew.. thanks for that.. do you feel better?
And anyone else excuse me I hate it when I've missed a thread for a day or two and have to keep scrolling up in order to find points of reference.. so bear with me...
Neil.. are we related.. though I must admit I don't know your Z
Emily.. who is Brian Bowers?.. tell us more...
Steve you were doing great.. i.e. I was nodding along with you until that is you hit the "Flintstones".. here I am unfortunately going to have to take you to task.. possibly because my 5 year old daughter insists on watching any/every cartoon on the Cartoon Network.. but.. how can I put it?.. The Flintstones are CRAP.. I can bear the Rugrats, I like Hey Arnold.. I enjoy Doug.. but .. okay let's not beat about the bush H&B have never yet come up with a decent cartoon.. their format is worse than Disney.. it's below infant school level.. Yogi Bear/ Fred Thickstone.. lets take the same charater and transpose a bit.. we're talking Roger Myers and Itchty and Scratchy in down mode..
And what else can we attribute to Hannah & Barabrian.. Scooby Doo.. God help us.. I'm cringing even now thinking about the rest...

If you're going to cite a cartoon character there is only one worthy of recognition (apart from the Simpsons) and that has got to be the deity of all cartoons.. Bugs Bunny..
So I'll let you off Steve cos you then went on to mention Jethro Tull.. so you can't be all bad..(Seasonal Grin)..
Each to us own.. we can't all like or be forced to like the same thing otherwise we'd be living in Orwell's 1984..
Let's hope we continue to enjoy the liberty of saying what we like, criticising what we will, but above all takning it all in the homour it was intended..
All the best to all who have deemed it worthwhile to contribute to this thread
Mick
