My friend Trevor is always trying to get me to sign petitions. Now, he thinks he's being reaally good, but I can't stand it. Amazon rainforests, People Against Pisceans, Murder in the Sudan, you name it, he's against it. I don't mind that so much, you know, but I don't think its so good to always be AGAINST things, I think it's not good for the spirit.

So I tried to get him to sign a few POSITIVE petitions. People for Poodles, Optimists for a Better Freeway system, Folkies for Romance. He said he hated Poodles, that they are an indulgence, and that the money spent on feeding them would be better spent on the children of Ethiopia. He says Freeways should be abolished, and everyone should ride a bucycle, and that folk music was about social realism, and that Romance was an indulgence.

We had a bit of debate about this and I finally felt it was time. So I am starting a movement called UNITE AGAINST TREVOR. I've had enough of someone who always knows what's best and want to tell other people what to do all the time. Are you sick of those superior types who demand your allegiance to their dogma? If so, join me, and UNITE AGAINST TREVOR. And, just to put a little vigour into this, here is a sound clip from the people who will be performing at our first UNITE AGAINST TREVOR concert....

DUELLING BANJOS UNITE AGAINST TREVOR
