Is it that artists are making money with these productions that you do not like Countess? I just cannot understand your argument,you say you have seen Maypoles to Mistletoe this for people who have not seen it is a collection of mainly traditional songs representing the different seasons and includes The Broadwood Morris men etc during the May section.I have appeared in this show playing for Broadwood,it does not get more traditional than this.My old mate Jim Farr does a couple of Monologes and links each section with poetry.It is not a big stage production,people are charged to get in as they do in Folk Clubs.
