I remember reading about how he was all excited about the new electrical lighting that would allow his pieces to be performed in settings with specific colors, and he suggested certain colors to be used in the future when electrical stage lights became more common in symphony halls.
    Isn't there also that smiley faced blond guy that you see in all the musician magazines who teaches perfect pitch by associating pitches with colors.
