GUEST,freereed Review: Duncan Browne (7) RE: Review: Duncan Browne 23 Sep 05

Yes, I remember Duncan well. He was a good mate of my brother Martin (also brother of Skipjack of course) who was tragically killed in a motor accident in 1974. I can claim to have taught Duncan his first chords on the guitar. He and I used to enjoy cooking fish. I was a fishmonger's delivery driver in those days (1967 in London --- yep, the Summer of Lurve).

Duncan wrote two songs for Martin. One was Country Song, all about visiting Martin in his country cottage, and My Only Son, which also came out of the same period.

Good to see Dunc is still so fondly remembered. He was exceptional in so many ways.
