Good bye, Pat. You'll be missed by all who knew you. One of my fondest Tyneside memories is the New Year's Eve I spent with you and Pete in Killingworth, 71-72. You put at least 20 of us up quite comfortably on ALL your floorspace after we could no longer stand. Laying there thru the early morning we couldn't stop singing, flat on our backs. Alec [Alex ? ] McKai in particular. The plumber had to be called at one point to fetch someone's false teeth out of the toilet S drain, as many of us had over indulged. I still can hear you singing "Jean at the Spinning Wheel" and "Twa Corbies" . . . Thank you for them and so many others. Riggy
