Almost to the day that Dubya snuck in to that modern-day Elysium of Baghdad, we're set to hit the 2.5K dead mark for U.S. soldiers over there. But it won't stop there, like some climber reaching the magical plateau, easy street from there on. Nope. We'll end up with as many dead in Iraq as we had on Sept. 11th, and for no discernible purpose outside of Dubya's incompetence, arrogance, political opportunism, and "shrunken dick" syndrome. Nope, just another three thousand more (and countless more Iraqi) senseless deaths. Cheers,
