The Temporary Campsite (run by Moor & Coast Festival)is no more expensive that other sites in the area. We provide a campsite with good clean indoor facilities on a great location. We had the oppotunity to use this site after talking to Malc (Whitby Folk Week) and we thought it would be a great idea to have it as a campsite. Many people camped at Stoup Cross but that no longer is an option. There is a critical shortage of pitches available for tents, we are trying to provide an alternative... Just to put the record straight, Moor & Coast Festival is a not for profit organisation. Funds raised from this will be put back into bringing music, song, dance and arts into Whitby and the rural area... No one takes a cut!!! Moor & Coast
