As I recall, there was a sheet of folksinger stamps issued a few years ago here in the US. Josh White, Sonny Terry, Leadbelly and Woody Guthrie. All were deceased when the stamp was issued. For n=4, that's not a bad list.

I bought a ton of Roy Acuff stamps when they came out. The picture of Roy and his fiddle was a great one.
