I wouldn't say arrogance is anything but a personal quality that may or may not impact the way you lead people or your effectiveness at doing so. Basically, arrogance could be good, bad, or irrelevant, depending on your other personal qualities. Politically, though, arrogance can make you unelectable, even though it may have fuckall to do with your actual performance.
