On February 11, 1847, Thomas Alva Edison was born. He is one of my heros because he invented the phonograph. I have a friend who collects old Edison phonographs and last night we listened to music on those old tubes and early records. What fun. If you want to hear a great collection of early country music played on Edison phonographs, take a listen to "Country Music Pioneers on Edison" at the Document Records website.
