The UK folk scene is in trouble because all us 'Baby Boomers' who were around for the scenes peak in the 60s and 70s are going to the 'Big Folk Club In the Sky' and are not being replaced by a younger audience. Last weekend we went to see Vin Garbutt who quipped " I would like to thank the young lady I met during the interval for lowering the average age of this audience to 57"
