There are whole websites dedicated to band names, some of them "real," and some of them fanciful -- "That'd be a good name for a band, there, Sparky" kind of thing. I don't have a URL handy, but then, there's the Google, isn't there? A friend of mine is in a band called "The Luckless Pedestrians," and another in "The Blind Robins." And who can forget "Ben Steele and His Bare Hands?" (a real band, too). My current bands have really bland names -- Last Gold Dollar and Civil War Comrades (this last because the bandleader owns the URL civilwar.com), so I don't expect to ever get listed in any of the band name websites.
