You're right Scrump, I should have mentioned that I have played bagpipes in the past. I can sight read music and have previous experience playing acoustic guitar in the past. When I played guitar I simply played chords...all self taught...simply copied what I saw in some instructional books. So, at this point I am trying to learn from the start, as they say. But...I do read music, I am certainly not a stranger to music theory either.
