Many thanks to Glenfolk for a tremendous night of entertainment at the Abbey last night (Paddy's). The pub was buzzing as the band played brilliantly for more than two & a half hours. They might be as Irish as a team of Six Nations champions, but they gave us classic after classic. The audience clapped, danced and sang the night away. Some wonderfully tenuous links to get non-celtic stuff in - "Irish sailors used to sing this on their trips Down Under" (South Austalia). "This one's by Trini O'Lopez" (If I had a Hammer)! Fantastic Night! See 'em, if you get a chance!
