GUEST,Charmin BS: Alpha Wave Slavery (93* d) RE: BS: Alpha Wave Slavery 03 Apr 07

Well, didn't Einstein flunk math once? So much for degrees.

Let me scroll down...oh, that's funny...witty...half-witty...yes. Alpha male has taken on a whole new meaning, it seems.

I sometimes pass a television that's gibbering, and I had an encounter recently. The background...there are 30 million criminal illegals in the U.S. I know that, no matter what frequency my brain is operating on. And I passed a TV and heard the guy on NBC...the anchor, whoever that guy is now...talking about "2 different approaches to the illegal issue." The first bit of film showed the "tough" approach, where cops in a community stop U.S. drivers (contractors) and give the drivers tickets for hauling illegal workers to a job site. The cop they showed about to issue the ticket even said "you have illegals in your truck." So, there's an American citizen being harrassed (rightfully so in my opinion...don't employ them and they'll go home, and fine the bosses so they'll stop hiring them), but this cop actually used the word "illegals" and then ignored their presence. He focused on the driver and ignored the bona fide criminal illegals. But illegal is illegal, so why was the citizen singled out for harrassment? The illegals still made it to the job site and stole a job, so why weren't they handcuffed before the cop wrote the ticket? Anyway, then the story shifted to the more "tolerant" approach showing some "It takes a village" approach to admitted illegals. It showed a town giving the criminals even more benefits (education, medical, etc) than citizens get.

Both those approaches were presented to the viewer in his or her alpha state, and one was labeled tough and one labeled more friendly. But in the tough scenario, the illegals were still rewarded. The viewer was told he/she was witnessing punishment, but in reality a truckful of illegals were being rewarded. That's described in one of the articles at the start of this thread...being told one thing and shown another as a propagandizing technique.

Anyway, I was utterly amazed. The piece was a perfect example of lulling the viewer into a susceptible state and then propagandizing. America's population is about to increase by 10% when the amnesty is signed, and these are some nasty individuals. No check has been made of the people coming over our borders, and felons from all over the world are just waiting for the day when they can walk the streets freely. And I suppose Nightly News viewers are being trained to accept rootless cuthroats as some kind of asset to this society.

TV propagandizing works.
