Xenophobia, hispanics? Where did all that come from? Most of the criminal illegals are OTMs (Other Than Mexican). I live near the Mexican border, and the roundups pull in Arabs, Europeans, South Americans, Asians.

Americans has been trained (largely by television), to self-regulate their speech to a ridiculous degree. Half the people I know have ancestors who came from Mexico. Of course the economy has benefitted from LEGAL immigration of Mexicans, Germans, Viet Namese, etc. But make people come here LEGALLY. Immigration laws are in place. Enforce them against the violaters. If a person will commit a crime to come here, what other crimes will they commit? No nation needs that. Get them out of here unless they've applied legally.

Geez. Those alpha waves have done a job on you folks. TV has trained you to sit back and passively let the decriminalization of 30 million just go by without even a whisper of opposition? That's national suicide. And apparently television has done it to you.
