It's my painful duty to announce the death of Rose the Sudanese goat, beloved wife of Charles Tombe, who departed this life after choking on a plastic bag. You may remember that local elders ordered Mr Tombe to "marry" Rose after he was discovered having sex with her. He was also ordered to pay a dowry of 15,000 Sudanese dinars (see the original story). Apparently, the happy couple had one kid during their all too brief period of marital bliss (see latest story). RIP Rose.
