To add my own two penn'orth. For the best Bacon buttie - use Middle cut bacon and, as with the better sausage sarnies, this should be between two thick slices cut from a fresh loaf (hand cut from a REAL with a bread saw - NOT that pre sliced muck) - as for toppings you pays your money and you takes your choice. Walrus.
