Mick - Subtleties...YES, that what I'm looking for now. I learned the basics in a group class so now I can beat a standard jig, reel, and even slide with one or two variations. But what I hear on CDs is amazing variations of the beat and subtle changes in tone. Does Harigan's book and tape cover that? RR - I'd be happy to send you a copy of the practice tape my teacher used with us. Send me a private message with your address.
