I don't quite understand how these things can be available on digital and also not - freeview essentially IS BBC digital. Who exactly can see these things? (cable tv viewers and satellite I suppose but its a bit weird that there is a different feed to these from freeview) Jim, I think is is all to do with the fact that the Freeview platform is more constrained on space and hence more crowded than the other digital delivery routes. On Sky, the red button basically takes you to a menu with more options. It is the same reason that there are a lot more +1 channels on a Skybox than you get on Freeview. That it is the "folk" event that mysteriously gets squeezed out is of course typical.
