I love taking photos of musicians, mainly close ups of fingers moving along the instrument (action shots if you like), but I ALWAYS ask before I take any photos, and the furthest they get is my living room wall, or my photo albumn. I have taken my mini disk player to sessions before, but this is purely to aid me in learning new tunes. Again, I always ask if people mind and if they do, then I don't do it.
