Hullo Dave'sWife, I was wondering, did you get Santa's postcard? I hope so. He was passing through the Tarheel State recently and thought you might like a recipe souvenir. Santa loves to cook, much like you -- and like you, he believes that old family recipes are the best. He'll see what he can do in that regard. You wouldn't believe how old his family is! Santa hopes that you will have a wonderful Thanksgiving, and he also rather selfishly hopes that you will post your dinner menu somewhere in Mudcat, assuming you're cooking -- your brilliant food writing always whets his appetite for his next meal.
