I once worked as an IT contractor at McDonald's HQ in Oakbrook, Illinois. The place was almost entirely run by really pushy, bitchy women managers.
The only good thing about the place was that their restaurant on the ground floor sold BEER!
Otherwise, working there was a miserable experience.
On the other hand, the BEST manager I have ever worked for was also a woman at a major insurance corporation in Chicago.
And don't let me get started on Burger U. (McD's management training University? - also in Oakbrook.)
