I don't think "often" would be accurate, but I'm almost certain it appeared more than once. I remember a "Beany and Cecil" episode in which it appeared sung by Cecil out in the middle of the ocean somewhere, rather than while sitting at a piano in a room as shown in "D.J. the DJ". This was 30-plus years ago, so I've got no idea what the episode title might have been.
