Further to Weelittledrummer's post, anyone know of a full-time English folkie singing just/almost-always unaccompanied, as Sam Larner did part-time? I've seen Brian Watson do such a gig of Geordie songs, and heard his all-UA CD (which I won in the raffle)..but I think he's always been part-time. Yes, they say, "audiences have more-sophisticated tastes these days," but I for one am quite content with good quality UA singing.
