The problem is, of course, if you want to be elected (whether you are Republican or Democrat) you must give the public what they want via the media.

Its our job to determine which candidate most closely mirrors our own values. I do not like to see Democrats flinging mud at each other but by the time the primaries are over, the Republicans won't have much mud left, to sling. Of course, there will always be those who prefer the conservative approach which includes no meaningful change at all.

I think most people fear change. What a pity.
