Fliss Obit: Cliff Hall of the Spinners gone (UK) (53* d) RE: Obit: Cliff Hall of the Spinners gone (UK) 29 Jun 08

I saw the Spinners at the Fairfield Halls in Croydon a couple of times in the early 70's. I enjoyed their humour and banter with each other and the audience.

I remember that when they were singing 'Twas pleasant and delightful' when it game to "bound for the East Indies" Cliff would say "West Indies". It always drew a great laugh.

They gave a lot of enjoyment to a lot of people.. now that cant be bad.

RIP CLiff
