Having just happened onto this thread I have to concur with all the kind and--very true--words. If memory serves Ron started the program in 1980 (I have been co-hosting since 1994) and is the longest running program on WFDU. Rightfully so. Glad some more people have now discovered the program with all this new and wonderful technology out there. To hear that people from the U S are now joined by those from around the world is not only thrilling but, hopefully, a harbinger of better understanding of people and their varied cultures and mores. One has to add that it is only possible to do programming like this on stations that are non-commercial and have a management that is opend to all kinds of ideas and diversified programming.
