A few years back ---in July to be exact---I had the pleasure of seeing him perform in an old Synagogue that was being converted into a cultural center for the town. The down is in the Berkshires in Mass. (USA) It was sweltering. He wore his trademark hat. Through all the heat he have a stellar performance. A performance that the audience did not want to see end. Afterwards he still had the energy and the time to spend with me for an interview that could by aired on the program 9TRADITIONS) I co-host on WFDU 89.1 FM Teaneck, NJ (www.wfdu.fm). From blues to Gospel he is really an electric presence on stage. Bill H
