AS I cam in by Huntly toon, Yin mornin fur tae fie, Refers to the old tradition of farm workers making their way to village livestock sales/fairs to bargain with local farmers to carry out alloted tasks for an agreed fee (fie) Archie Fisher's rendition of this song cannot be bettered.... if you have not heard it & you like/love this song, then you have missed the best. I've been performing this for 40yrs & I can still choke up while singing it.... & I have not been nervous on stage since 1970 !! stickywillie.co.uk
