Dad's family is Jewish, from Bukovina and Galicia mostly, while mum's family are not Jewish and are of Anglo-Scottish extraction with several Scandinavians thrown in. Mum's grandmother was born in Mexico, Dad's grandparents in what is currently Ukraine.
