My Welsh grandfather- in -law as a term of extreme surprise or frustration would exclaim ,"Jesus Patsy !" And my grandma would warn us to stand well back on the railway station as "the steam will draw you under! " As little kids my brother and I when admonished and told to apologise used to flip our t shirts over our heads.No idea why we thought this the correct procedure !
