In July this year, there was a concert at the Old Fruitmarket in Glasgow to commemorate 10 years of the Celtic Connections "Danny Kyle Open stage", and to mark the 10th anniversary of Danny's death. Artists performing that night included many of Danny's friends and contemporaries, and some of the new acts that have come through the Open Stage. So on the stage we had Archie Fisher, Dick Gaughan, Arthur Johnstone, Brian McNeill, David Ferrard, Lori Watson, Jamie Smith Trio, Swing Guitars.... There's a review of the night on http://www.gardensessions.co.uk/review_dannykyleconcert.htm Celtic Music Radio broadcast the event live. We're planning to edit it down and rebroadcast it over the Christmas period. The first part will be broadcast on Christmas Day at 6pm (UK time), with further installments on Hogmanay and New Year's Day. I hope you can listen.
