I thought the reason we finger pick when we perform at the folk club was to enhance our songs. Sorry, M.ted never got round to underastanding the picks I do - just do them, and they seem to go down well. But I'm not against anyone doing a University degree in understanding finger pick if they want to. A bit sad I would have thought but each to her/his own... Ian Fyvie
