Michael and Janet are the same person. Film of Janet at the memorial service showed her with a wide-brimmed hat that kept her face in shadow. You never see the Jackson Sisters perform together - that's because at one point, MJ got carried away and invented the other two personalities. Pretending to be four people got to be too much, so MJ decided to fake his own death - it's better to have the most controversial one die. LaToya and the other one can just fade away - no one cares about them anyway. Now Michael can just concentrate on playing the Janet role.
