Hi again, I tried using alternatives to toothpaste, but I decided it probably wasn't the toothpaste. When I first had the problem I had a few glasses of water throughout the day with a couple of teaspoons of lemon juice and that really seemed to do the trick. Every week or so the problem seems to come back, and now I just take a couple of Vitamin C tablets. After that it seems to get back to normal, and I can eat whatever I want. My hubby is starting to think it might be the water in this house. We moved here a few months ago, and I have never had the soapy tasted before, so he might be right. Helen
