A farmer's life... too busy working outside in the Spring and Summer to "indulge" in computerfication. Fall and Winter, the only way to stay warm in our 1830s farmhouse was to huddle around the wood stove, far from the cold back room wherein we ensconced the computer. We abandoned the old farmhouse last year when we could no longer keep it warmer than 35 degrees INside. At that point we looked at our 20-year-old toasty-warm woodshop and decided to engage in some Rural Real-Estate Flipping (that's when you make your outbuilding into a house, and your house into an outbuilding). Now the "new" woodshop-turned-cosy-wee-cottage is done, and I have a laptop that allows me to type while enjoying the warmth of the stove. So..... ceilidh, anyone? We're just fifteen minutes inland from Freeport, and we'd love to have this place graced by a few good sessions!
